no worries, no what ifs

Our residents are not worried about the future. They have put a plan in place that will guarantee their future care no matter what happens. They now have the ability to live their active lifestyle with "no worries, no what ifs". Imagine not having to spend your retirement worrying about your future health care. Imagine not having to worry about what if I get sick and who will be taking care of me. Imagine putting all of that behind you and getting on with your life. Your retirement years can be awesome! Let Aldersly show you how.

The Rose Garden

Our famous gardens are headlined by our rose garden. The colors, the scent of the air, the beauty. Most people seeing them for the first time have no words to say except "Oh my!" Thanks again to Suzanne Bean for her terrific picture.

Artists in the Rose Garden

Art in the Garden was a huge success and the Marin Watercolor Society were amazing! Truly talented individuals all. Here they are drawn to our rose garden to paint. They looked fantastic and everyone was happy they were here. Come again soon!

An Artist in our Gardens

On Saturday we had an incredible event here! We invited the Marin Watercolor Society to come and paint in our gardens. We also showcased the wonderful art work of our residents. Our chef prepared delicious sweets and a wonderful fruit basket that looked like a work of art! Ice tea and lemonade, a welcome refreshment as the temperature soared! Safety First

Yesterday we conducted a disaster drill. Training is vital to the security of our residents. I saw dedicated professionals from all areas of our community working together. This type of commitment is one of our greatest strengths. Flawless and organized, we know what to do and what is expected of us. This makes all of us safe. We are prepared.

Look at that smile!

One of our residents just got back from a cruise! When I saw him in the lobby today he was grinning from ear to ear. He said it was a great vacation. He looked fantastic and rested. Retirement should be exciting with new adventures. If you are able to put a plan in place that will allow you the freedom and peace of mind to explore new challenges without the worry of "what will happen if I get sick?" you should! Our residents are able to have that freedom.

A Special Weekend at Aldersly

With Mothers Day tomorrow many of our residents are off visiting families or making plans for their families to visit Aldersly. Our fabulous Chef has an amazing menu for residents and guests tomorrow. I was just in our Dining Room where I am stunned to find it look even more beautiful than usual. Mothers Day is VERY important and no detail too small to make all Mothers feel so very special. This is what we do here. Our residents and their families are our family.

Something about Fridays

As I walked onto our campus this morning I noticed one of our residents washing her car. She was getting ready for the weekend. At any age Fridays symbolize the start of something great. I always have a great feeling Friday morning knowing that another fantastic weekend here in beautiful Northern California is just a few hours away. Our residents feel that way too as they plan and prepare for their weekend activities. TGIF!

A sky so blue

Today is the first day in almost a week that we have a blue sky and sunshine! Looking at Mt Tamalpais from our Dining Room with the sun shining on the summet and blue sky behind it is such a sight! The view is awesome. Everybody comments on how beautiful our Dinning Room is and what fantastic sweeping views. Blue Sky, Mt Tam, and Sunshine. What a combination.

All in a Day

Everyday something is going on here at Aldersly! Art lectures and classes, Tai Chi and Yoga are favorites among our residents. Taking a class at the nearby Dominican University is also a favorite way to continue with new challenges.

Yesterdays Cinco De Mayo Party was a blast! The dining room was a Mexican fiesta and I know everyone enjoyed the incredible food. I sure did.

Art in the Garden

We are busy planning for an incredible event. Art in The Garden! Marin Watercolor Society will be here May 16 in our amazing gardens with their easels. Yesterday I was passing out our invitations to the surrounding community to meander our lovely garden paths and watch Marin artists as they work on-site. Our gardens are famous here in Marin and people love any opportunity to walk through them. Have I mentioned the roses?
